Special Invites Only "Elvis" is in the building! CHHR welcomes Melissa Jesurun and her handsome 2001 black AQHA gelding by Invitation Only. Although Elvis, Melissa and her mom Liz have been associated with our ranch in the past, this is the first time that we can officially claim them as our boarders. Melissa has won numerous awards with Elvis, the biggest of which was a $10,000 scholarship as the high point AQHA youth at the 2008 San Antonio Livestock and Rodeo Show.
Not only is Elvis an accomplished show horse, but he can do other things too! Here Melissa leads one of the CHHR weanlings off of Elvis. Elvis and Melissa always attract attention on the rail, Elvis because of his sleek black coat and Melissa because of her excellent horsemanship. Melissa accepts her scholarship from San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo officials in February 2008. She'll use the money when she starts college next year. This year she's a senior at Boerne High School, graduating in May of 2009.
