Piece of Art "Monet" is a 1999 brown mare by Artful Move and out of the TB mare Divy Up Babs. This elegant 16-3 mare had a handsome dark bay colt on Jan 30, 2008, by Face It Im Good.  She is once again bred to Face and is due early February of 2009.
Monet was named the open circuit champion in hunter under saddle at the AQHBA spring circuit. Although it was a small show, it was a great first outing for her "under saddle." There were a lot more things to look at than when she was in pleasure driving (in blinders). Monet was previously shown in pleasure driving then took a short time off before coming to CHHR. This photo was taken during her vacation in Arizona. She's not quite as tubby as this anymore. Monet was named the hunter under saddle circuit champion at the AQHBA Spring Circuit in San Antonio. She was ridden by trainer Liné Martin, who had an easier time in the arena than taking this photo. Directly in front of the photographer was the cutting arena, and Monet was very interested in the cattle!
